What is the difference between an NVR and a DVR?

An NVR records IP cameras over the network. A DVR records analogue cameras. Hybrid recorders support both, which is useful when upgrading in stages.

How much storage do I need?

It depends on the number of cameras, resolution, frame rate and retention period. We calculate it so footage is kept for as long as your premises require.

What is VMS?

Video management software is a central platform to view, record and manage cameras across one or many sites, with user roles and alarms.

Can we view all branches from one place?

Yes. A VMS or central client lets you monitor multiple sites from one control room or office.

Do you set up control rooms and video walls?

Yes. We design and install control room consoles and video walls for live monitoring.

What happens if a hard drive fails?

With RAID storage the recorder keeps recording when a drive fails. Our maintenance checks drive health so failing drives are replaced early.

How long can footage be kept?

As long as the storage allows. We calculate the storage for the retention period your business or SIRA requires.

Can we back up footage off site?

Yes. Important footage can be exported or backed up to a second recorder or server.
